General Manager - Jason Fleming

Jason assumed the role of General Manager of Hawke's Bay Racing in June 2009. Jason comes from a well-known "Naki" racing family and is actively involved in ownership himself. Prior to joining Hawke's Bay Racing, Jason's working life was in finance whilst he also has been admitted to the Bar as a Solicitor. His passion for racing combined with his proven commercial accumen means it will be a "sure bet" that the business of racing in Hawke's Bay continues to grow.

Racing Operations / Assistant Manager - Kim Treweek

Kim swapped the silks for a suit and tie after a highly successful riding career. Kim's knowledge of racing is immense and his experience holds him in great steed as Racing Operations Manager. Kim's chief role is to facilitate the running of racemeetings within the East Coast Racing Group and if you need to know "what's happening" in the racing world, Kim is the man to talk to.

Racecourse Manager - Richard Fenwick

Richard is our Racecourse Manager and as such is responsible for keeping our race track in pristine condition and it is due to the efforts of Richard and his team that Hawke's Bay enjoys the reputation of being New Zealand's best racing surface. Richard and his team also look after the training facilities at Wall Road.

Business Development Manager - Mike Sanders

Mike is in charge of our business development, dealing with all our sponsorship and providing commercial opportunities for those businesses looking for an innovative approach to promote their company. Marketing & Events Manager - Mel Bissell

Mel is responsible for all raceday events and themed occasions on course. Mel also looks after our hospitality so if you are looking for a great day's entertainment, from being "wined and dined" in an exclusive marquee through to picnicking together with friends on the lawn, contact Mel - she will add that special touch to ensure your day at Hawke's Bay Racing is memorable in all the right ways!

Accounts Executive - Lynne Feather

Lynne's responsibilities include all aspects of financial management and she is the person to contact regarding any payroll, account and payment queries.

Executive Assistant – Victoria Beale

Victoria is the friendly voice you hear when you call Hawke's Bay Racing and you will find her at our front counter on racedays ensuring all our clients get a warm welcome. Victoria coordinates our membership databases and takes care of our complimentary pursuit, the Hawke's Bay Hunt Club.

Track and Grounds Staff

We are also very fortunate to have a dedicated team of Track and Grounds Staff and it's due to the expertise of this team the Hawke's Bay Racing facilities are in such pristine condition all year round.
