How much is the entry fee to the course?
There is no charge for entry to any of the mid-week racemeetings. On all Saturdays the entry fee is $10.00 per person with the exception of the 2nd October which has a $20.00 per person entry fee. Entry for children under 15 years is free on all racedays.

How much are the Hylton-Smith (Members) Stand Tickets?
INDUSTRY DAYS ie: mid-week racedays - No Charge
Feature Days ie: all Saturdays  - $20.00 each
Premier Days ie:Hawke's Bay Gold Cup, Mudgway PartsWorld Stakes, Windsor Park Plate - $25.00 each (excludes 2nd October raceday)
Spring Weight for Age Championship (2nd October) Raceday - $45.00 each

What is the dress code for racedays?
A tidy standard of dress expected throughout the year. Whilst smart casual is acceptable most days, on our major racedays such as the Hawke's Bay Gold Cup and the three days of our Hawke's Bay Spring Racing Carnival, patrons are encouraged to dress for the occasion. On these days there is a minimum requirement of a jacket or tie for gentlemen using the Members Stand.

On Saturday 2 October 2010.

When is the Hunt & Seek Fashion In The Field competition held?
On Saturday 2 October 2010.

How can I obtain tickets for a raceday?
Entry to the course can be paid for at the gate on the day. Members Stand passes may be purchased on or prior to raceday at the Administration Office at Hawke's Bay Racing. Please note that some Packages are non-refundable.

• All races take place at the Hawke's Bay Racing Centre, Prospect Road, Hastings
• In summer, first races generally start between 12pm & 12:30pm
• Winter meetings generally start between 11pm & 11:30am
• There is ample parking space on site for over 5000 vehicles
• Raceday Sponsors are provided with reserved car parking areas
• Adult admission (15+) free on Industry days, $5-$15 on Saturdays/Premier Days; children (under 15) free, members stand passes $20 +, pre Raceday packages $20 +. (NB: These prices may change and are indicative only)
• Air New Zealand has regular daily flights into Napier
• It is a 15 – 20 minute drive from the airport to the Hawke's Bay Racing Centre
