Whilst the rest of New Zealand watches with keen interest, nothing compares with being there to witness the unique atmosphere of the first leg of the Triple Crown of the Hawke's Bay Spring Racing Carnival. The Mudgway PartsWorld Stakes is a sensational race with NZ's best horses competing for the spoils.

Action on and off-course races up the thermometer with the second leg of the Triple Crown. Group I glory awaits another star in the Windsor Park Plate. The Filly of the Year series takes defining steps as the time honoured Hawke's Bay Breeders Gold Trail Stakes showcases the equine debutantes.

Off the track Fillies and Mares will no doubt jostle for position to admire the new season's fashions on the catwalk as part of the fabulous Ladies Day activities.

The Group I "Kit Ormond Memorial Spring Classic" over 2040m is regarded as the best Weight for Age race in New Zealand. The three year olds vie for supremacy in the Group II NZ Bloodstock Insurance Guineas and the Group III TradeRacks Stakes over 1400m rounds off a day of pure excitement.
