With the Hawke’s Bay Racing Centre currently being utilised as a Distribution and Recovery Centre and an Animal Refuge and Welfare Centre as a result of Cyclone Gabrielle, the Little Avondale Stud Lowland Stakes Raceday has now been transferred to RACE Awapuni on Wednesday 1 March and will be presented by the Marton Jockey club and the Rangitikei Racing Club.

Admission to the raceday will be by donation of cash or goods, with all proceeds heading to Hawke's Bay Racing for distribution within their community. Racing is expected to commence about 2pm, and features the Group Two 2100m Little Avondale Stud Lowland Stakes for 3 year old fillies.
